2020 Energy Efficiency Code Update – Looking at 2020 changes to Section 9.36 and NECB (time permitting).
This afternoon session will cover the 2020 Updates to Section 9.36. If time allows some of the 2020 NECB changes will be included as well.

Tammy Harper has been an Instructor in the Civil Engineering Technology Department at Red River College since 2014. She teaches Code related courses for the Building Inspection Program as well as Management and Leadership to the Construction Management Degree program students.
Prior to working at Red River College, Tammy was the Chief Building Official for the Office of the Fire Commissioner for 8 years. During that time at the OFC, Tammy was responsible for teaching code related courses and seminars for building officials, design professionals, contractors and the general public and she also worked on many code development committees at both the provincial and national level.
With the CCBFC being replaced by the Harmonized Board, Tammy’s continued involvement in the Canadian Code Development System is through the Transition Advisory Committee, as well as multiple National Standing Committees and Joint Task Groups.
