Our Committment

MBOA is a non-profit association dedicated to promoting public health and safety in building construction by providing information about legislation and building code development through training and event based learning opportunities for its members.

In keeping with our mandate to educate, train and promote the building construction industry we established semi annual seminars and an annual trade show. Our association sees the importance of providing our membership with the ability to have inter provincial discussions between building inspectors to discuss interpretations of common problems.

The Manitoba Building Code is Essential for Safe & Healthy Communities

Provincial legislation and the Manitoba Building Code are vital and help ensure Manitobans enjoy safe and healthy buildings in which they can live, work and play. Manitoba Building Officials are responsible to ensure building regulations are followed so communities are safe, accessibility is available, and accidents are avoided.
