All water-based fire protection systems have one thing in common, they need water. Without access to an adequate water supply these systems will not be function properly. When determining a water supply you need to make sure it is automatic (when required), reliable, and has sufficient volume and pressure to meet the system demand.
This seminar is developed to aid BOTH the Building Official and Fire Official with the understanding of water supply basics. ALL Code Officials, regardless of discipline need to understand what the applicable Codes and Standards tell us about MINIMUM Water Supply.
